With seventeen years experience in the industry, Aaron is instrumental in the creative direction and professional execution of Caramel’s projects. His passion is to work closely with clients on concept development & design, brand positioning, marketing and strategic development. Amanda Sever

Amanda Sever

Following an illustrious and dynamic career both here and overseas, Amanda arrived in Melbourne in January 2012 to begin her role as Studio Manager with Caramel Creative. An accomplished, results-driven Project Manager with 8 years design and communications experience, we are delighted to have someone of her calibre at the controls.

In her most recent position as Group Studio Manager for HH Global (London), Amanda worked with some of the world’s most respected and valuable brands, including Google, Chevrolet, Siemens, Intel, Nokia, Barclays Wealth and Estee Lauder. Her ability to interact with clients is complemented by her comprehensive knowledge of brand and project management development and implementation.

Amanda was born in France and has lived all over the world, thanks to her Dad’s diplomatic career. She is fluent in French and Spanish, and speaks basic Indonesian. She is a live music junkie and has attended well over 500 gigs in a dozen cities over the last 20 years. She also remains true to Caramel’s recruitment policy being a dedicated foodie and now embarking on a culinary challenge to try every restaurant in Melbourne. Sounds like she’ll be around for a while.

Tim Smith

Tim Smith

Tim spent time working in both New York and London before returning to this side of the world and settling in Melbourne.

This international agency experience has exposed him to a broad range of industries as diverse as sport, luxury, finance and broadcasting.

Specialising in client relationship management, Tim’s skill set also covers strategy, project and campaign management, as well as marketing and brand communications.

Prior to joining Caramel Creative, Tim was at Designworks Melbourne directing branding projects for the National Museum of Australia, University of Melbourne, ISPT, Colorpak, and Vue de Monde.

Other favourite clients have included Lloyds Banking Group, Vertu, Sport England and Harlequins RFC.

Tim is a keen photographer, and is particularly drawn to urban landscapes and architecture. A country boy at heart, he also likes to get down to the coast or out into the country whenever possible.

Rusty Benson

Rusty Benson

Rusty is a digital designer who combines big agency experience with a design studio attitude of collaboration and thought. He loves finding the perfect balance between beautiful aesthetics, communication, functionality and technology to help clients achieve success. He has worked with George Patterson Y&R, JWT, Samuelson Talbot and Australian Centre for the Moving Image amongst others. His qualifications include BA Communications, Advanced Diploma Multimedia and Grad. Dip. Graphic Design.

When he’s not at Caramel, Rusty indulges in his love of performing. He plays guitar in a confusing progressive rock/pop band, appears in comedy roles on the ABC and he has done Shakespeare in the Vines 3 years in a row. He likes to cycle and eat good food (though not at the same time). He has travelled to all continents except Antarctica and Africa…they’re on the list. An ambitious type of guy, he really wants to sing Todo Africa to an audience of hungry wild lions to see if it calms them down. We suggest he goes to Antartica first.
